This Privacy Policy explains how Zeniar ("Zeniar", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects your information when you use the zenuem website and unified endpoint management platform (the "Service"). We are based in Australia and are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. Who we are
Zeniar provides zenuem, a platform for managing desktop and mobile endpoints. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, contact us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information - your name, email address, company name and the subdomain you choose when creating an account.
- Authentication data - we use passkeys (WebAuthn). We store only public key credentials; we never store passwords or your private keys.
- Billing information - subscription and payment details are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
- Endpoint and telemetry data - where you enroll devices, the Service processes data your agents report (such as operating system, hardware, software inventory, update status and device identifiers) so you can manage your fleet.
- Usage and technical data - IP address, browser type, and log data used for security, diagnostics and to improve the Service.
- Cookies - we use essential cookies for sessions and for remembering your currency and preferences. See "Cookies" below.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- provide, operate, maintain and secure the Service;
- create and manage your account and authenticate you;
- process subscriptions, payments and invoices;
- provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- send service-related communications (for example, licence keys, trial reminders and billing notices);
- detect, prevent and address technical issues, fraud and abuse; and
- comply with our legal obligations.
4. Third parties and sub-processors
We share information with trusted service providers only as needed to run the Service, including:
- Stripe - payment processing and billing.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers - to host the Service and your console instance.
- Zeniar Platform One - our internal provisioning and licensing system.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public.
5. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
6. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption in transit, passkey-based authentication, signed and checksum-verified agent updates, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.
7. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to request access to, and correction of, the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, or to raise a privacy concern, contact [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
8. International transfers
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with this policy and applicable law.
9. Children
The Service is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes.
