How to Enrol an iOS Device
This guide walks you through enrolling an iPhone or iPad into ZEM Cloud using the ZSync iOS app.
Prerequisites
Before enrolling, ensure you have:
- Supported OS: iOS 18 or later / iPadOS 18 or later
- Network Access: Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity
- ZEM Cloud Access: Admin access to generate enrolment QR codes
- Camera Access: Required for QR code scanning
Enrolment Overview
ZSync iOS provides device monitoring and limited management capabilities for iPhone and iPad devices. Due to iOS platform restrictions, some features require additional configuration.
Available Features
- Device Monitoring - Track device status, storage, and battery
- Ring Device - Play a sound to locate the device
- Push Messages - Send notifications to the device
- Profile Tracking - Monitor installed configuration profiles

iOS Platform Considerations
Unlike Android, iOS has strict background execution limits. This means:
