Desktop Device Details

The endpoint details panel provides comprehensive information about a specific device and tools to manage it.

Accessing Endpoint Details

Click on any endpoint row in the Endpoint Overview table to open the details panel.

Details Panel Sections

The header displays:

  • Hostname - Device name
  • Status - Online/offline indicator
  • OS Icon - Visual indicator of operating system
  • Last Seen - Time since last communication

System Information

  • Operating System - Full OS name and version
  • Kernel/Build - System kernel or build number
  • IP Address - Current network address
  • Agent Version - Installed ZEM Cloud agent version
  • Timezone - Device timezone setting
  • Uptime - Time since last reboot

Resource Usage

Real-time telemetry data including:

  • CPU - Current processor utilisation percentage
  • Memory - RAM usage and total available
  • Disk - Storage usage per volume/partition
  • Network - Network interface statistics

Updates

  • Pending Updates - Number of available updates
  • Security Updates - Critical security patches available
  • Auto Reboot - Whether automatic reboots are enabled
  • Reboot Time - Scheduled reboot time (if configured)

Hardware Information

  • Manufacturer - Device manufacturer
  • Model - Device model name
  • Serial Number - Hardware serial (if available)
  • Processor - CPU model and core count
  • Total Memory - Installed RAM

Toolbox Menu

The Toolbox menu provides quick access to common actions. Click the Toolbox button to access:

  • Remote Actions - Reboot, shutdown, update now
  • User Management - Add, remove, or manage local users
  • Endpoint Settings - Configure auto-reboot and timezone
  • Notes - Add or edit notes about this endpoint
  • Hide/Unhide - Toggle endpoint visibility

Local Users

View and manage local user accounts on the endpoint:

  • Username - Account name
  • UID - User identifier
  • Status - Active, locked, or logged in
  • Actions - Lock, unlock, logout, or remove

Telemetry Charts

Historical telemetry data may be displayed as charts showing trends over time for:

  • CPU utilisation
  • Memory usage
  • Disk I/O
  • Network throughput

Endpoint Notes

Add notes to an endpoint for documentation purposes:

  1. Click Toolbox > Notes
  2. Enter your notes in the text area
  3. Click Save

Notes are visible to all administrators and can help track maintenance history or special configurations.

Closing the Panel

To close the endpoint details panel:

  • Click the X button
  • Click outside the panel
  • Press the Escape key
